Judy Garland Home - Grand Rapids, MN
The Judy Garland Home is Part of the Iron Range Audio Tour

Judy Garland Home Minnesota Tourism Information

Judy Garland was born in Grand Rapids, MN and spent her early years in a home that is now a museum that is open to the public. The exhibit takes about 45 minutes to complete, and is full of Judy Garland memorabilia including an authentic pair of the ruby slippers she wore in the film The Wizard of Oz that are on loan. The Judy Garland Museum owned one of the original six pairs, but it was stolen from the museum in 2005. The home has been restored to how it looked between 1919 and 1926 when Garland’s family lived there, where she began performing at the age of two.
