Pickwick Mill Minnesota Tourism Information

The Pickwick Mill is one of the oldest operational gristmills (a mill that grinds grain into flour) in the country. The mill is located on the Mississippi River near the city of Winona, MN. The Pickwick Mill was originally constructed in 1858, and ran 24 hours per day during the Civil War to feed the Union Army. Visitors can tour the mill and see history in action for a modest fee from 11am to 5pm any day except Mondays.
