Vineland, Minnesota
Vineland is Part of the Iron Range Audio Tour

Vineland Minnesota Tourism Information

Vineland, MN is a tiny town located on Highway 169 along the shores of Mille Lacs Lake MN and is nestled into the northern edge of beautiful Mille Lacs Kathio State Park. Vineland was named for the early Norse settlement in what is now Newfoundland, Canada around the year 1000. Spelled Vinland in the original Icelandic, the name Vineland means “Wineland”. Things to see and do in Vineland itself are a bit lacking due to its size, but its location along the shores of Mille Lacs Lake offers visitors options for fishing, boating, canoeing, biking, hiking and birding. You can also visit several nearby museums and the Mille Lacs Grand Casino.
