Silver Bay Minnesota Toursim Information
The city of Silver Bay, MN was originally built by the Reserve Mining Company to house its labor force. Since then, the city has been linked for better or worse, with the iron mining industry. The Silver Bay Visitor Center in town interprets the rich history of the region. Silver Bay is part of the Gitchi-Gami State Trail, a biking/walking path along Lake Superior’s shoreline. You can also stop to have a picnic lunch at Bayside Park or check out the Silver Bay Marina.
